During the compositional aspect, I kept in mind that tension must firstly be created in order to be released. This was mostly done through the switches between dorian mode and the western major scale. The most obvious manifestation of this is the difference in timbre between the verse and the chorus. The songs structure is A-B-B-A where the water sounds in the beginning(intro) is heard again in the ending(outro). The build up to the chorus is part of the verse.

The overall time of the composition was longer than I expected. Instead of the 3-4 minutes witch I pitched, the overall length of the track is 4:44 minutes. This was mostly due to the transitions and tension that needed to be build up in order to be released.
